The Cave of Digital Gold​

Bitcoin in the current world is considered as digital gold due to increase in its value.
Mining has always been an important part of the earth , doing hard labour and using all sorts of equipment to extract valuable resources from inside the earth.
However it seems like this generation seems to rather mine cryptocurrency as bitcoin and often this ends up being very profitable and valuable and it just keeps increasing in price.
This scene pictures this situation of mining the digital gold of the current world in a mystical cave rather than valuable resources.
The first main asset created for this scene is the pickaxe used for mining which was first visualised through a digital rough sketch and then inked to use as a reference for modelling
Using the reference , the object was then modelled , UV unwrapped and textured and then finally rendered
The next asset was the bitcoin itself for which a reference was taken from the internet to model with
The model was created with some of the fine details and then unwrapped
Then the model was textured with a nice metallic gold finish with a matte look and was finally rendered and ready to be used
The cave was created using a cylinder with some displacement maps and some textures with normal maps to create the rocky look and the inital render was done
With the help of the compositing nodes in Blender , i was able to add some effects and create a sense of depth and atmosphere by creating some fog and also adding some glare to the sun aswell as the crystals
And then finally with the help of photoshop i was able to create the final image by doing some colour correction and color grading to make the final image more appealing and more dramatic to look at
